The white Poggio Fiorino has a beautiful yellow colour, good consistency and shine. In aroma once can perceive the perfume of delicate white flowers and notes of yeast with a pleasant final flavour.

    Production Area: Montalbano Hills - Vinci

    Altitude: Average hills 40-120m above sea level. 

    Vineyard Exposure: East - South East

    Soil Type: Sediment marine fossils, sandy-clay, pebbly sandstone, organic substance.

    Harvest: End of September. 4800 plants per hectare.

    Technique: Guyot and Cordon.  The Poggio Fiorino (white) vineyards are fields rich in sediment marine fossils where the clay filters giving the wine minerals.  The grapes are transferred to the wine cellar for a short time where they are kept in cold temperatures with dry ice to drop down the temperature before being pressed on the same day of the harvest. he wort is kept for some hours at temperature of 10°C. Afterwards the wine is stored in stainless tanks for at least 3-4 months before being bottled.

    Recommended Food Pairings: Ideally with aperitif, fish dishes, vegetables, white meat and creamy cheese.

    Service Temperature: 10° - 12° C.
